Surveying and mapping aspects, storm tide protection
Master plan is being developed for corrdinated incremental barrier protection against hurricane tides for Texas coastal area; initial phase involves development of analytical solution for determining storm tide and hurricane wind effects on coastal areas; analytical solutions will be monitored by model study; hydrographic charting for project was accomplished by Raydist control of survey operations; topographic mapping was accomplished by 3 1/2 in. focal length photography and direct viewing plotter.
