Technique of dynamic programming is applied to Oroville-Thermolite complex located on Feather River in northern California; mean annual unimpaired runoff of Feather River is 4,200,000 acre-ft; this application includes provision for pumped storage and two-stage power generation facilities; IBM 7094 computer program was used.
