Transient thermal response of enclosures -- Integrated thermal time-constant
Method has been developed for theoretical computation of integrated thermal time-constant of enclosures; heat transfer function is obtained which covers any complex structure of homogeneous or multilayer construction with exposed or unexposed walls, roofs, and floors including ventilation or indoor intersurface radiation exchanges; this leads to assessment of thermal characteristics of entire enclosure in terms of single parameter.
