On microtremors
Spectral and period distribution analyses were made of microtremor records obtained simultaneously at surface of ground and underground; mathematical interpretations based on theory of multiple reflection of elastic waves in layer were made from results; features of main parts of microtremors in ground depend mostly on multiple phenomena of waves transmitted from bed rock after passing through considerable depth; results can be used to determine seismic characteristics of ground.
