Contribution to calculation of foundation girders and unilaterally reinforced foundation slabs with consideration of rigidity of frame-type buildings
Imaginary girder is conceived which combines rigidities of foundation and structure; base pressure distribution and ground settlement are determined; contrary to usual methods, settlements instead of forces and moments are sought at support points of girder; method's limitations are discussed.
