Method is presented for reinforcing pile foundations of quay walls by means of unprestressed or prestressed cable anchored at one end to anchor plate fixed to waterside of quay wall, and to landside anchor block at other end; calculation is performed for actual case of quay wall foundation which was reinforced in order to take up additional load of new railway bridge.
