Method is proposed for calculating flow in channel provided with several parallel rows of obstructions; method is based on Lang formula; it considers each pile row separately by calculating water level rise on upstream side of row and applying experimentally established numerical coefficient which accounts for interference of subsequent rows; validity of Lang's formula was tested on single-row model for three different pier profiles (rectangular, Joukowsky, and mixed profile).
