A platform for research: civil engineering, architecture and urbanism
Linoleum, vinyl and asphalt flooring materials were examined using standard methods of testing; properties examined were flexibility, brittleness, curl, dimensional stability, resistance to abrasion, resistance to indentation, resistance to tear, resistance to scratching, detergents and cleaning solutions, resistance to fire and to cigarette burns, discoloration when exposed to solar radiation and to UV light radiation, acoustical properties, and slipperiness.
