Physical characteristics of low-firing ground enamels
Low-firing enamels are considered to be those which mature at temperatures of from 760 to 780 C, with firing period no longer than for other enamels; comparison is made for 800 C enamel and 760 C enamel considering chemical buildup, behavior of steel sheet, expansion and softening temperatures, mechanical properties, and chemical resistance.
