Transient design of drainage systems
Prediction equations are presented for water table decay following single pulse recharge, as well as for water table behavior as function of arbitrary histograms made by superposition of step input; method is described and illustrated that uses water table histogram functions for development of probability distribution of water table heights from long-term precipitation record, corresponding temperature record, and knowledge of drainage system's dimensions and soil's properties.
