A platform for research: civil engineering, architecture and urbanism
Problems posed by industrialization of building industry
Economical advantages of construction industrialization are reviewed; it is emphasized that these advantages risk being lost if those responsible for building projects will continue using special, nonindustrialized elements; means of promoting industrialization of building industry and of counteracting resistance to it are discussed; it is proposed, as first step, to improve present conditions of drawing up projects, and to form teams of architects and engineers who would make complete and definitive studies before construction work is started.
