Partial plasticization of concrete and microconcrete flexed elements; to study plastic deformation caused by appearance of microcracks in tensioned zone of flexed elements, earlier tests carried out on concrete beam models were repeated using reduced scale models (1/10 of previous sizes) made of microconcrete (concrete with epoxy resin binder); effects of concrete quality and test piece sizes on partial plasticity in tensioned zone were investigated; practical formulas obtained seem to be generally valid for brittle materials.
