Untersuchungen ueber die Korrosion unlegierter Staehle in Kalziumhydroxydloesung und in feuchtem Beton
Corrosion of unalloyed steels in calcium hydroxide solution and in moist concrete was studied by measuring current-potential curves of iron and concrete reinforcing steels in oxygen-containing and oxygen-free solutions with and without additions of halogen salts and inhibitors, and by stress corrosion tests on concrete reinforcement; on basis of results, mechanism and kinetics of attack by solutions containing chlorine, bromine, and iodine ions are described.
