Corrosion of steel and galvanized steel in concrete
Study of black vs galvanized steel used in bar or steel cable for concrete reinforcement, and high tensile wire in prestressed concrete; appreciable difference was found in bonding characteristics; because of some contradictory results in rate of deterioration in corrosive exposures, further work is recommended; experimental procedures are outlined, results and discussion are given; table of cement analyses is appended. (See also Am Zinc Inst -- Tech Seminar v 5 n 4 Nov 24 1964 23 p)
