Highway-traffic estimation by linear programming
Method by which linear programming may be applied to traffic estimation relating to interchange design; use of map, showing area of 50 mi radius with circles at 5, 10, 20, 30, 40 and 50 mi radii, divided into 4 radial sectors; estimating ability of population of each sector to draw and originate traffic; results obtained by new method are not significantly different from those obtained by existing procedures.
