Improvements to river intake at Omaha, Nebraska
When improvements on Missouri River deepened channel to increase hydraulic efficiency at low river stage, it was found necessary to alter existing facilities of river intake at Omaha, Neb; this was effected by construction of cell-type cofferdam to provide dry working area, excavating riverbed rock down to necessary level, and underpinning old structure which had been built in 1914.
