A platform for research: civil engineering, architecture and urbanism
Efficient way to bring adequate amount of light to undersides of wings and fuselages which hide much of light from above, thus dimming underwing and vertical working planes is use of light reflecting floors made with white cement; reflection from white concrete floor, at Consolidated's Southwest plant, proved to be 61% better than that from gray floor and vertical illumination from white topped gray by 20%.
