Contents of Swedish National Board of Building and Planning's Memorandum 1964-68 concerning construction of brick chimneys and for tests which were conducted in connection with it; memorandum includes recommendations for which binding material and mortar should be chosen under various conditions as well as for appropriate work methods for bricklaying; tests conducted have proved that pure lime mortar is not suitable for brick chimneys, among other reasons because of its low power of resistance to corrosion; lime cement mortar has proved to have much better qualities.
