Vibration and structure-borne noise control
Theoretical vibration isolation efficiency and transmissibility curve is presented; natural frequency of foundation on two types of soil and of concrete floor construction are examined; effect of elastic spring action of soil; comparison of theoretical vs actual natural frequencies of various types of isolators; two methods describing how to stay out of resonance with building structure and to isolate effectively all of disturbing frequencies are discussed.
