A platform for research: civil engineering, architecture and urbanism
Factors affecting nature and magnitude of vibration are analyzed for cases of small-span (up to 30 m) bridges of steel, concrete, and composite construction; relationships between weight of vehicle and weight of total vibrating system, as well as motion equations for center point of beam and its maximum deflections are discussed for various bridge types; computation of effects of dynamic loading were carried out by means of electronic computer.
