Highway bridge vibrations IV -- Vibration of continuous highway bridges
Study for development of design method to calculate fundamental frequency of continuous span highway bridges so that these bridges can be designed to assure that resonance does not occur under normal loading conditions; natural frequency of isotropic, elastic plates, with two parallel edges free, for simple span and two-span continuous plates, simulating highway slab bridges were investigated in particular; approximate design method is developed for calculating natural frequency of various types of continuous highway bridges.
