Transverse distribution factors of bending moments in bridges
Using theory of nonuniform torsion for long thin-walled members, calculating method for transverse distribution factors is developed for loads imposed on long bridges of doubly unsymmetric open, closed, and compound cross-section; in numerical example of composite construction bridge, method is compared with classical method for lattice frameworks and that developed by Courbon; advantages of author's method are pointed out.
