Racjonalne Projektowanie Belek Kablobetonowych
Design of post-tensioned prestressed concrete beams; three criterions for optimal design of above beams, namely, for minimum effective tensile force, minimum height of cross-section, and minimum area of cross section (minimum weight) are discussed; latter criterion seems most suitable for weight reduction in post-tensioned constructions and represents their basic advantage over reinforced concrete constructions; practical method of designing of post-tensioned prestressed concrete beams is proposed which eliminates use of method of successive approximations.
