Fatigue strength of 3/4-inch stud shear connectors
Results of fatigue tests performed on seven steel-concrete composite beams; shear between steel 24 WF 68 beams and 6-in. thick slab is developed by means of 3/4-in. diam headed steel studs; beams were all identical except for number of studs; beams were 36.0 ft long and were divided into groups -- four commercially good and acceptable specimens, and three inferior specimens not acceptable to Texas Highway Dept.
