Dynamic response of beam on viscoelastic subgrade
Steady-state response of beam to rapidly moving load; it is shown that effect of foundation damping is most pronounced over certain limited velocity range of concentrated load; unbounded critical-velocity resonance does not occur; influence of initial elasticity is exhibited by comparison with response of beam supported by foundation of Kelvin models; analytical expressions and graphs for beam deflections and bending moments.
