Building rests on ferroconcrete pile foundation; it has loadbearing ferroconcrete cross walls set on concrete grilles connecting groups of piles; floors are of thin continuous prestressed concrete panels; synthetic materials are used in suspended panels of exterior walls, interior partitions, as floor and wall finishes, in plumbing, railings, ventilation grills, and even doorknobs; kitchen sinks are of styrene plastics, bathroom tubs and sinks are made of fiberglass; polyethylene piping is used for plumbing and synthetic mastics and insulation materials to seal joints in exterior wall panels.
