Heating and ventilating London post office tower
Each of four sections of building, with exception of aerial galleries, has its own ventilation or air conditioning system; each supply branch duct where it connects to main vertical rising duct is fitted with pressure reducing facilities; air is extracted from each of floors, with exception of two battery room floors, by second set of sheet metal ducting fitted with exhaust grills and which connect to two complementary main vertical exhaust ducts which also form part of center structure of building; unusual feature of plant room on fourth floor is cleaning of fully automatic electrostatic filter.
