Hospital modernizes without interruption to service
For renovation of regional hospital at Oxnard, Calif, Kathabar microbiological air decontamination system was selected for air conditioning of all critical hospital areas, including surgery, obstetrics, nursery, intensive care units, and emergency room; air intake for Kathabar system is on roof, through vertical coarse screen, and air passes into treating equipment on fourth floor cupola where it passes through one of two Kathabar air washers and is then distributed through duct system to various air-conditioned areas.
