Amiesite is a method, and paving material and pavement resulting from use of that method. The method is one by which an asphalt paving mixture is laid cold instead of hot, asphalt cement thereof being kept sufficiently plastic long enough for purpose by means of a solvent called "liquefier" instead of by means of heat.
