High-piled fire tests conducted at Underwriters' Laboratories, Inc during 1962 to evaluate storage conditions such as sprinkler discharge density, areas of application of such densities, pile areas, aisle widths between piles, hose stream demand, sprinkler water supply requirements, and other data relating not only to height of piles but also to degree of combustibility of stock.
