Static electricity generation by carbon dioxide extinguishers
Study of causes of static electricity generated during discharge of carbon dioxide extinguisher; equation on relationship between cause and its effect for design of extinguisher with increased capacity and in which measures of static control can be achieved; by addition of nonconducting static depressant to carbon dioxide contents in cylinder, 90% of generated charge can be reduced.
