Strength of welded connections in aluminium alloy building structures
Investigation was made of welded connections of tower crane jib of lattice construction, made of AMg6 Al-Mg alloy without heat treatment and of heat treated AV alloy; joints were argon arc welded manually with tungsten electrode and semiautomatically with consumable electrode; results are given of tensile tests of welds under static loading.
