Strain measurements of prestressed concrete tank wall
Strains due to prestressing and bending moments caused by prestressing in longitudinal direction were measured and compared with theoretical values for Freyssinet method and for preload method; results obtained show that prestresses applied fulfill design conditions and measured strains satisfactorily coincide with theoretical values in angular (tangential) direction.
