A platform for research: civil engineering, architecture and urbanism
Research is directed particularly to studies of strain properties of concrete and their effects in structures; interest is centered generally on behavior under operating conditions i.e. within range of permissible stresses rather than overload; special attention is devoted to effects of time and temperature; creep under variable stress; effect of elastic modulus of aggregate on elastic and creep properties of concrete; shrinkage in massive heated structures.
