Formulas on fineness modulus and specific surface area
Results are presented which were developed from general equations evolved by applying Stieltjes integrals; basic principles of fineness modulus and introduction of 2 new analytic equations for it; statement is developed that necessary condition for workability of freshly mixed concrete is that logarithmic average of particle sizes in total solid volume should not exceed on upper limit; specific surface area concept discussed.
