Huge housing project in Mexico City contains 28 structures, including 19 4-story buildings, 6 of 8-stories and 3 buildings with 14 stories, with total of 3500 apartments; second unit will have 4000 apartments and third will add 3600 for total of 11,100 apartments in 104 buildings; Xochimilco-Chalco-Amocamec project canal will collect water from snow- and ice-fed streams, shunt it through proposed hydroelectric plant, then deliver it to pipe line that will feed city.
