Strength of brickwork built with plasticized cement-sand mortars
Relationship between compressive strength of brickwork and strength of individual bricks and of plasticized (or aerated) cement-sand mortars suggested as alternatives to cement-lime-sand mixers; differences of brickwork strength merely reflect differences in strength between aerated cement-sand mortars and cement-lime-sand mortars which they replace; there is no evidence that known broad relation between compressive strengths of mortar and brickwork for given strength of brick is affected by change in type of mortar.
