Rocks in area are Paleozoic calcareous shales with inclusions of argillaceous slates and dark blue limestones; granodiorite is present to south and west of mine area; 2 narrow pegmatite dikes from 1 to 4 ft in width have been traced on surface more than 250 ft; 2 other dikes were disclosed by trenching and sampling; beryl occurs in pegmatite dikes as random pockets and disseminations; results of examination of property.
