Jetty provides three berths, each 150 ft long by 77 ft wide; screw piling spaced at 15 ft, consists of solid mild steel shafts. 6 in. in diam, with 4-ft diam cast iron screws; each bracing unit, weighing 22 tons was assembled on pontoon, which was brought into position where bracing was picked up and placed on piles.
