Construction of foundations for Vernon narrows bridge
Building of eight reinforced concrete piers and two abutments to support nine structural steel spans and reinforced deck of four lane highway bridge in Ontario; driving of pipe piles to rock through 57 to 92 ft of silt, clay and gravel; "blowing-out" driven pipes and filling them with concrete; cofferdam construction with 3 to 45 ft long sheet piles; test of piles with 400 ton load; construction of pile caps.
