Kandla port project -- Design and construction of harbour works
Kandla port is natural estuarine harbor; most important item of work in first stage was that of cargo jetty group; this consisted of jetty proper, 2700 ft long with 4 deep water berths, 3 transit sheds each 450 ft long and 140 ft wide, road 80 ft wide behind transit sheds, and 4 warehouses; investigation and construction works are described.
