Protective sodium benzoate impregnated jute wrappings for steel parts
Tests to ascertain corrosion inhibitive properties of benzoate-wax treated hessian as compared with those of jute fabric treated with sodium benzoate alone; after seven days' exposure, steel specimen wrapped in untreated hessian was severely corroded, while specimen wrapped in hessian treated with sodium benzoate retained its original brightly polished appearance; interpretation of results.
