Troubadour -- New sea lighthouse at Vinga island outside Gothenburg, Sweden
New method of constructing lighthouse in concrete; bottom caisson with footing was cast on land and launched; tight cofferdam was built on top, inside of which tower was cast in sliding formwork; construction was towed to its final place and submerged in water to horizontal bed of macadam which had been injected with cement mortar; bed was 18 m below sea level and total height of lighthouse 43.5 m from bottom with 25.5 m rising over water.
