Transportation planning in Dallas-fort worth area
For comprehensive transportation planning traffic was distributed between zones, using Frater technique, and then assigned to thoroughfare system, using minimum time paths by IBM 7094 computer; this paper describes method used to select freeway plan for Dallas area once trip forecasts were made; plan is intended as guide for future developments and improvements to transportation system; further study and analysis is needed before determining specific design requirements such as number of lanes.
