New pressure grouting methods in France and Switzerland
Method used for remote pressure grouting of water supply tunnel of Lanoux-Hospitalet hydroelectric power plant in France and influence of bentonite addition on grout mix are described; "Colcrete" method with injection pipes was used for casing-in of three syphons crossing Arve River at Geneva, Switzerland, at depth of 4.5 m; turbid water necessitated development of "temperature-difference method" between river water and "Colgrout" within rock structure to determine grout level; features of measuring device.
