Solving construction problems of bromley gasholder tank
New method of 225-ft diam gas holder construction was successfully tried at Bromley, Great Britain; aim was to reduce holder's height and to avoid construction noise in residential area of town; solution was found by providing two concentric reinforced concrete diaphragm walls built with use of bentonite mud, which prevents collapse of excavation.
