Reference is made to Building Research Institute 1966 Spring Conference; seven papers were presented on materials used for flooring that range from hard surfaces to soft, and from functional materials to those having aesthetic appeal; subjects include wood floors of future, use of expansive cement for flooring, adhesive bonded monolithic terrazzo floors, new uses for carpet, developments in resinous flooring, advances in resilient flooring, and new methods of floor maintenance.
