Floods in Scotland -- Magnitude and frequency
Regional analysis of floods in Scotland; advantage of regional flood-frequency analysis method is shown in reducing sampling error; for hydrologically homogeneous area two design curves are derived -- one gives variation of flood discharge, in ratio to mean annual flood for different recurrence intervals and other shows correlation between mean annual flood with drainage area.
