A platform for research: civil engineering, architecture and urbanism
Hydrological cycle of floods is examined and mechanics of water motion in each part of cycle is referred to; considering rain and melting snow, empirical methods of estimation including rational method, Institution of Civil Engineers' method, and unit hydrograph method are summarized; results of linear analysis of hydrograph and geomorphometric research; flood routing, frequency, and statistical-correlation methods are compared with other prediction techniques.
