Foundations in cross-anisotropic ground
Integration of equations of stresses in cross-anisotropic half space produced by normal and tangential loads uniformly distributed along straight line on surface leads to knowledge of stress distribution in cases of triangular loads of same nature in site of gravity type dam; results are tabulated and points where plasticity most probably starts indicated, taking into account anisotropy of foundation ground.
